The Siskiyou Arts Museum is the perfect place to learn a new skill, experiment with art, and make new friends. We schedule classes and workshops throughout the year. Click the titles of the articles below to see what’s coming up and what we’ve offered in the past!  SAM’s normal business hours are Thursday through Saturday, 11am to 4pm, and Sunday, 12noon to 4pm.

March 11 & March 12, 2017 — Photography Walkabouts

In conjunction with the upcoming show “Essence of Dunsmuir: A Photographic Exploration” that he is co-curating with Blaise Barnes, Ernie Wasson is offering two free Photography Walkabouts in Downtown Dunsmuir to discuss interesting perspectives on public Dunsmuir spaces.  Participants

will meet at Siskiyou Arts Museum at 10am on Saturday, March 11, or 4pm on Sunday, March 12, for approximately 2 hours of exploration and photography. Results may then be entered into the “Essence of Dunsmuir: A Photographic Exploration” show, deadline March 19.  Send jpegs with dimensions of framed and ready-to-hang photos (up to 3) to siskiyouartsmuseum@gmail.com.  Call (530)235-4711 for questions or to R.S.V.P.
