Exciting News from Siskiyou Arts Museum!
Thanks to generous donors who so far have contributed over $226,000, Siskiyou Arts Museum has been able to move forward with the purchase of our building. This is a huge step for our non-profit museum, volunteer-run gallery and gift shop.
Siskiyou Arts Museum has been diligently fundraising for the past two years with the aim of purchasing and upgrading our building. Owning the museum’s home ensures the fulfillment of SAM’s mission to provide artistic enrichment to our community. Our purchase and repair goal is $250,000, which will pay off the loan that helped us buy the building plus fund long-deferred maintenance needs. SAM’s first major project was the repair of our 100-year-old building’s roof. The newly resurfaced roof is essential to the building’s structural integrity and the protection of the valuable artwork that we display and sell.

Though we’ve reached this milestone, we are still in great need of donors to help us reach our building fundraising goal of $250,000.
