About SAM Sponsorships
In May 2019 SAM began an “Art Show Sponsorship” campaign to request financial support to help cover the costs of producing our monthly 2nd Saturday opening receptions. The first art show to benefit from this new sponsorship program was the Dunsmuir Elementary School Art Show, featuring students who participated in the Watershed Art Program, taught by local artist and teacher Rami White.
The Dunsmuir Pizza Factory hosted a fundraising event, with a percentage of sales going toward this show, and local SAM supporter Harriett Alto also made a financial contribution for this art show, which opened on May 11, 2019.
Each year, February through December, SAM plans new art exhibits on the second Saturday of each month. With your help, we will be able to continue our efforts to support local artists while bringing interesting and thought-provoking art to Siskiyou County.
A suggested sponsorship donation is $400. Of course, two or more donors might want to sponsor a show together, and we will post sponsor’s names for each exhibit as it is being promoted. Your sponsorships help fund the costs of promotion, installation, supplies and utilities.
